Money Market Accounts
A Money Market Account (MMA) is the second step to serious investment. When the practical investor comes into the Bank of Commerce and speaks with one of our counselors about investing their money long-term for a large return, this is the first place we refer them to. It is classed as an Expanse Account.
An MMA is designed to give our investors the best tools to make their money grow without having to break out a scientific calculator. Any MMA, as with all of our other services, are backed by our 10,000 USD or its GOLD Equivalent Insurance.
Included also is our Credit and Consultation Guarantee Program™.
Essentially, you put your money into an MMA and it becomes "locked" for a certain period of time and cannot have any withdraws. After it is "unlocked," you can withdraw from it. Once the MMA has been set up, you can not deposit anymore. For every "half-life" the funds in your MMA will gain an additional amount of interest.
Requirement: Citizen Only
MMA Minimum: 5.00 GOLD
MMA Maximum: 20.00 GOLD
Lock Time: Thirty (30) Days
Half-life: Fifteen (15) Days
Full Life Interest: 5.00%-8.00%
Half-Life Interest: 2.50%-4.00%
Interest depends on the exact amount deposited.
Restrictions:
Interest is figured at "unlocking" and "half-life" periods only.
Limit one MMA per person at any given time.
Once submitted, cannot be withdrawn until unlocked.
